Greetings, everyone.  Now for the updates.

There is a new service that I've added--SiteWatcher.  All you need do is enter your email address on the main page in the box, and voila!  Every time I update the site, you'll be notified.  Simple as that.

Also added is a forum, where you can post your comments and converse with others, as well as place your links, just about anything you want--it's pretty wide open.  You will find a link to it also on the previous page.

Rumor has it that Odetta has a new story in the works.  And also, yes, Leather and Lace has one in progress at the moment as well.

On August 26, 2000, I added Hit Box counter system to this site, which helps me keep track of who's visiting what page.  From then until the present moment, these are the top 10 read stories on the WET SPOT:

Rajin Cajun

Greetings, one and all.  I'm Will Adams, webmaster of "Rajin Cajun's WET SPOT".  It's kind of hard to begin with a new post about updates, because I don't know where to begin.  But I may just ramble in this first update, and post new updates from here as they come along.  By the way, I'm in hunt for a nice email notification system that will let people know automatically when updates are done to the site.  If you stumble across one, let me know.

First off, I'm very proud to announce that I may be one of the first, if not the first to have a second-generation writer on his site.  My son, "Roland the Gunslinger", has contributed his first two works to the site.  He's really giving his ol' man a run for his money, so you all need to read his stories.  He even designed his own pages, and there's no denying that he's the King in this family when it comes to that.

Next, I want to welcome the other newest addition to my list of guest writers, "Odetta".  Her "virgin excursion" into this realm has me reeling.  A wonderfully written story, it does a great deal of painting of the images that she has in her mind right onto the canvas of your mind.  You must read her story, "Golden Threads".

To each and every visitor of this site, I have thanks to give to you.  Here is a little statistical information for you.  From October 29, 1999 until July 9, 2000, this site was averaging 31 new visitors per day.  From July 9 until the present, this site has been averaging over 250 new visitors per day.  The WET SPOT is growing, and that is due to you.  I humbly thank you for that.  For your convenience, there are two different buttons on the previous page that makes it easy for you to email the URL to this site to a friend, so share the WET SPOT when possible.

I wish to use this paragraph to extend a few more credits.  First, I wish to thank KCGraphics for her help with a couple of things.  She designed the entry button to the site, and I will treasure it forever.  It's quite gorgeous, I must say.  Second, she designed the background and general scheme for the page with the story "Golden Threads" mention above.  The owner of KCGraphics is damn good at what she does, so you all should go and take a peek at her stuff when you get the chance.

For those of you who have been long-time visitors of the WET SPOT, you've probably noticed that my output of stories has been slim lately.  Well, the good news is that that is about to change.  I've spent lots and lots of time promoting and also dressing up the site, giving it a bit of "eye wash".  I hope that I am (at least for now) satisfied with the look of the WET SPOT, and I should get back to my pen very soon.
