Attention Artists:
The TNSC Art contest relies on its nomination based system to continue having artwork submitted to the contest. This means that anything you post to public view can become an entry to the art contest if nominated by anyone, not just yourself. As per all legal terms I have looked into, nominations are not someone's attempt to claim copyright or ownership of your work. It is, however, their way of attempting to grant you recognition for your hard work and devotion.
Take a nomination as an honor, since it means someone thinks you have serious talent.
Think of TNSC Art Contest as though it were the Grammy Awards, only for art.
However, we also respect that original artists do retain full rights for their work, even as an entry in our Art Contest. If you truly do not want the honor of this recognition, feel free to tell us. We will always inform you when your work has been nominated. If you do win the contest, the most we will do with the image is create it as a thumbnail that links to the full image on your site, giving you full attention as a winner on our contest. In that respect, you still retain full rights as the artist of anything submitted to the contest.
