I photographed Linda on my second shoot at the Kentmere Studio in Nottingham. The studio was located in The Park
which is an up-market private estate close to
the city centre and as well as being residential, it is the area where many of the city's accountants, architects and
solicitors have their offices. It was definitely not the sort of area where you would normally find a glamour studio.
Back in 1969, the estate was owned by Oxford University which I guess was quite appropriate because both my visits to Kentmere certainly improved my knowledge of the more intimate parts of the female body, specially during the shoot with Linda, because I discovered that her speciality was posing with her legs open for what she called "kinky pictures" ... |

The shoot had started normally enough with me taking a few pics of Linda taking off the clothes that she was wearing when she
had arrived at the studio ... a short pink mini-dress, a comfy looking orange bra, tights and a pair of white knickers under her tights.
I am pretty sure that Linda had dressed for comfort, not to thrill and she was not expecting me to want to photograph her in her ordinary everyday kind of underwear. If she had, I am sure that she would have worn some different knickers because I have never seen a girl wearing a pair of knickers like them. They were even bigger than the knickers that the girls at school used to wear when they were playing netball netball, which the girls themselves used to call "passion killers" ... |

But after the unpromising start, things began to get better when Linda put her tights back on (without any knickers this time) and
a black ¼-cup bra, and did a quickie strip for these pics. Although her tights weren't as see-through as some,
as you can see in the first pic, they didn't leave too much to the imagination.
For her next strip Linda wore the black ¼-cup bra again, and as if to prove that she did have more sexy underwear, she put on a lacy red suspender belt, stockings and a skimpy red g-string. But things got even better in Linda's final striptease set, which I have titled "Girl Illustrated" when I discovered that Linda had no inhibitions at all about showing her cunt ... |

The title for the set comes from the name of the girlie magazine that Linda is looking at in the first few pictures. Although it featured high quality glamour photographs of girls from different parts of the world, it was very tame and some models didn't even show their breasts. The girls who did show their tits didn't show anything else because the publication of pictures showing pubic hair (or more) was still taboo. So there is a degree of irony in my choice of Girl Illustrated as the title for the set because although the GI models did not illustrate girls as they actually were, Linda certainly did. Although I had to give her a cash bonus for posing for the kinky pics, I wonder now if a bigger financial incentive would have persuaded her to go even further, like holding her labia open or even maybe masturbating for me ... |
| Whilst researching to make sure that the facts on this page were accurate, I discovered that there is a website dedicated to Girl Illustrated. It is thanks to that site that I have been able to identify that the edition of Girl Illustrated that Linda is looking at in my pics is No. 24, which was published at the end of 1968. Please note, that my use of the Girl Illustrated title for Linda's pics does not infer that she was featured in the magazine. |
| The images on Linda's webpages have been scanned from 2¼" square (6cm x 6cm) transparancies using a 35mm size scanner. Where an image has required two scans, these have been posted side by side and framed by two thin lines the same as this note. |
